Choose a Pit by Its Fish

Different Ice Pits offer different fish. A higher-level pit is not automatically the right choice for your next collection reward. Open the Fish Index, identify a missing species, and check the available pits for that catch before spending fishing items.

You can fish without your alliance owning the pit. Ownership improves the chance of rare catches in your alliance's pit, but it does not replace choosing the right fish pool.

Activate Catches and Exchange Duplicates

1. Collect fishing items from the event's daily tasks and rewards.
2. Fish in a pit containing a species you need.
3. Open the Fish Index and activate the new catch to collect its reward.
4. Offer duplicate fish to other players and ask for missing species.

The Fish Index offers progression rewards, including materials for the Snowman decoration. Check the next collection milestone before spending another batch of fishing items.

Winning an Ice Pit

Your alliance must defeat the pit boss. When multiple alliances attack it, the alliance dealing the most damage wins control; leading the damage table without killing the boss is not enough.

Coordinate attendance and positioning before the contest. HQs close to the pit can be exposed to attacks during the battle. Fishing progress and fighting for ownership are separate decisions: players who cannot contest a pit can still work on their collection.

Before Winter Ends

Activate remaining catches and claim earned milestones before the event closes. End-of-season recycling values: Common Fishing Pass — 100 Diamonds; Master Fishing Pass — 1,000 Diamonds; Fishing Bucket — 1,000 Diamonds each. Check the item description for your season before relying on these values.
