Best Gathering Strategy

Overnight Gathering

The most efficient way to get resources:

1. Before sleeping, send ALL marches to gather
2. Choose high-level nodes (more resources)
3. Use heroes with gathering speed bonuses
4. Fill marches completely — don't send half-empty
5. Collect in the morning

Gathering Heroes

These heroes have gathering speed bonuses (keep at 4-star for global effect):

• Giselle — Wood gathering speed
• Athena — General gathering bonus
• Blue heroes — Various gathering passives

Tip: You don't need to deploy gathering heroes — their 4th skill global effect works automatically.

Node Selection

• Higher level nodes = more resources per hour
• Closer nodes = less travel time
• Alliance territory = gathering speed bonus
• Avoid contested areas = risk of attack

Daily Resource Sources

Chest Types & Rewards

Chests are a major source of diamonds, fragments, and rare items. Save them and open in bulk for better chances at rare drops.

Chest Opening Strategy

• Save chests — don't open daily, accumulate for bulk opening
• Open in bulk — better psychological feel, same odds but more chances
• Bounty chests: ~90% are resource boxes, 10% have good rewards
• Realistic expectations: 10k diamonds from 1,000+ chests is lucky

Real Example (from 10k+ chest opening)

• ~20k diamonds total (including 10k and 5k jackpots)
• ~40 universal orange hero fragments
• 6k+ badges
• 44 level 1 component boxes
• Days worth of speed ups (construction, training, research)

Note: This required saving chests for weeks. Don't expect these results from daily opening.

How to Get Steel

Steel is the bottleneck resource for HQ 25+ upgrades. Main sources:

1. Tyrant Rallies (Best Source)

• Join alliance Tyrant rallies daily
• Enable "Engage Offline" — auto-join rallies when you're not playing
• Gives ~500+ Steel per week
• Also gives Power Cores and other materials

2. Steel Nodes on World Map

• Gather from Steel nodes (appear at higher levels)
• Lower yield than Tyrant but always available

3. Events & Tasks

• Alliance Duel rewards
• Special events occasionally give Steel
• Daily/weekly task rewards

Critical tip: Always enable "Engage Offline" for Tyrant. You get Steel passively without being online.

How to Get Diamonds

Diamonds are premium currency. F2P can accumulate 20k+ diamonds from chest opening alone.

Regular Diamond Sources

• Daily Tasks — Small but consistent
• Achievements — One-time rewards
• Events — Alliance Duel, Full Preparedness, special events
• Arena Rankings — Top 50 gives extra rewards
• Redeem Codes — Check our Codes page for free diamonds

Diamond Jackpots from Chests

Tip: Save bounty mission chests for weeks, then open thousands at once. One player got 20k diamonds from bulk opening (including 10k + 5k jackpots).

How to Spend Diamonds Wisely

• DO: Save for Lucky Discounter (90% off) and Gacha Go events
• DO: Buy VIP shop items (wrenches, badges)
• DON'T: Speed up random timers
• DON'T: Buy random chests (earn them instead)

Resource Protection

Warehouse Upgrades

Your Warehouse protects a portion of resources from raids:

• Upgrade Warehouse to increase protection limit
• Resources ABOVE the limit can be stolen
• Keep resources below protection limit when offline

Protection Strategies

• Spend before logging off — Start long upgrades/research
• Use shields — When you have large amounts saved
• Join NAP alliance — Non-Aggression Pact = less raids
• Stay in alliance territory — Harder for enemies to reach
• Don't hoard — Spend resources as you get them

Farm Accounts (Late Game)

When resources become scarce in late game, create farm accounts:

What is a Farm Account?

• Secondary account focused only on gathering
• Transfers resources to your main account
• Essential for F2P players in late game

How to Set Up

1. Create new account on same server
2. Join same alliance as main
3. Focus on gathering buildings and march capacity
4. Send gathered resources to main via alliance transfers

Tips for Farm Accounts

• Keep HQ low — no need to upgrade past gathering unlocks
• Max gathering research
• Build multiple farms if needed (1-2 is usually enough)
• Don't invest in combat — only gathering

Skip Resource Buildings

Common mistake: Building and upgrading resource production buildings.

Why Resource Buildings Are Bad

• Terrible output — produce very little per hour
• Gathering is 10-50x better — one gathering trip = days of production
• Waste builder time — builders should focus on HQ prerequisites
• Waste resources — upgrading them costs more than they produce

What Buildings to Skip

• Farmhouse (food production)
• Residence (wood production)
• Wind Turbine (electricity production)
• Smelting Plant (steel production)

Exception: Only build these if required for HQ upgrade prerequisites. Keep them at minimum required level.
