Best Gathering Strategy for Fast Resources

Optimize gathering before production. A full overnight march on good nodes usually beats hours of passive building output, especially when gathering heroes and alliance territory bonuses are active.

Overnight Gathering

The most efficient way to get resources:

1. Before sleeping, send ALL marches to gather
2. Choose high-level nodes (more resources)
3. Use heroes with gathering speed bonuses
4. Fill marches completely — don't send half-empty
5. Collect in the morning

Gathering Heroes

These heroes have gathering speed bonuses (keep at 4-star for global effect):

• Giselle — Wood gathering speed
• Athena — General gathering bonus
• Blue heroes — Various gathering passives

Tip: You don't need to deploy gathering heroes — their 4th skill global effect works automatically.

How to Get More Diamonds from Chests

Use chest saving as a bonus diamond strategy, not a daily income plan. Bulk opening does not change the odds per chest, but it gives more chances at rare drops and makes jackpot results easier to notice.

• Save chests — avoid daily trickle opening if you are building a larger reserve
• Open in bulk — same odds per chest, but more total chances at rare drops
• Bounty chests: most results are resource boxes; diamond drops are the exception
• Realistic expectations: 10k diamonds from 1,000+ chests is lucky, not normal

Critical tip: check the live reward screen before counting any event as a steel source. Tyrant is still useful for alliance rewards and Power Cores, but do not plan steel around it unless the game shows steel.

Use Warehouse protection as a safety layer, not as a reason to hoard. The practical rule is simple: spend exposed resources before logging off, keep your stash under the Warehouse protection limit when possible, and use a shield when you cannot reduce the risk.

Warehouse Upgrades

Your Warehouse protects a portion of resources from raids. Upgrade it when you are repeatedly carrying resources above the protected limit, when an HQ or event requirement forces it, or when your account needs more offline safety.

• Check the protected limit before long offline windows
• Spend resources above the limit on upgrades, research, or training before logging off
• Do not over-prioritize Warehouse if gathering, HQ prerequisites, combat buildings, or shield planning are more urgent
• Use shields when your exposed resources are high and you cannot defend or spend them cleanly

• Spend before logging off — Start long upgrades/research
• Use shields — When you have large amounts saved
• Join NAP alliance — Non-Aggression Pact = less raids
• Stay in alliance territory — Harder for enemies to reach
• Don't hoard — Spend resources as you get them

When to Use Farm Accounts

• Secondary account focused mostly on gathering and resource support
• Feeds extra resources toward your main account through alliance systems
• Useful for F2P late-game shortages, but not mandatory for every player

4. Send gathered resources to main via alliance transfers

Should You Build Resource Buildings?

Do not spend builder time on production buildings unless an HQ requirement forces it. Gathering creates the real resource flow; production buildings usually cost more attention than they return.
