Gear Basics

Each hero equips 4 main gear pieces plus optional exclusive equipment:

Gear Rarity Tiers

*Orange base cap is 50. Each hexagon adds +5 (max 75 at 5 hexagons). Mythic transformation adds +25 (max 100).

Critical rule: NEVER spend Enhancement Alloy or Power Cores on purple, blue, or green gear. Purple gear maxes at level 30 with NO promotion — complete waste of resources. Convert all non-orange gear to alloy immediately.

Best Gear Stats by Role

For DPS Heroes (Back Row)

Heroes like Selena, Yu Chan, Queenie who deal damage:

• Priority 1: Attack % — directly increases damage output
• Priority 2: Damage % — multiplies your attacks
• Priority 3: Troop HP — keeps your army alive longer

For Tank Heroes (Front Row)

Heroes like Katrina, Bella, Harleyena who absorb damage:

• Priority 1: HP % — survive longer in front row
• Priority 2: Defense % — reduce incoming damage
• Priority 3: Damage Resistance — flat damage reduction

How to Enhance Gear

Enhancement (Alloy)

Increases gear level using Enhancement Alloy. Access via Heroes → Equipment → Enhance.

Level caps by gear state:

• Base orange gear: Level 50 max
• Each completed hexagon: +5 levels (55, 60, 65, 70, 75)
• Mythic transformation: +25 levels (max 100)

Important: You must reach level 20 before you can unlock promotion. Always enhance to level 20 first, then start promoting.

Promotion (Hexagons)

Orange gear has 5 hexagons, each with 6 steps = 30 total promotion steps.

Promotion uses:

• Power Cores — all steps
• Zent (money) — all steps
• Orange equipment — hexagons 4 and 5 only

First promotion step is HUGE: Only costs 100 Power Cores + 1M Zent but gives massive stats. Always prioritize getting all gear to at least 1-star (first step).

Optimal Upgrade Strategy

1. Merit Shop: Buy orange equipment choice box EVERY week until all 5 heroes have full orange (20 pieces total)
2. Enhance to 20: Level up all orange gear to level 20 (unlocks promotion)
3. First hexagon first step: Promote ALL gear to 1-star (first step of hexagon 1)
4. Complete hexagon 1: Finish all 6 steps of hexagon 1 on ALL gear
5. Continue evenly: Hexagon 2 on all gear, then hexagon 3, then hexagon 4
6. Stop at hexagon 4: Hexagon 5 costs nearly HALF of total resources — skip unless whale

DON'T: Rush one piece to hexagon 5 while others are at hexagon 1. Power per resource is much better when upgrading evenly across all pieces.

Promotion Cost Breakdown

Detailed costs per hexagon (each hexagon has 6 steps):

First Step Efficiency

The very first promotion step (hexagon 1, step 1) costs only:

• 100 Power Cores
• 1M Zent

This gives MASSIVE stat boost for minimal cost. Always get all gear to this point first.

Hexagon 5 Warning

Hexagon 5 alone costs:

• 12,800 Power Cores (50% of total cores)
• 18.8M Zent (28% of total)
• 6 orange items (60% of total items)

Unless you're a whale, stop at hexagon 4. The power gain per resource drops dramatically at hexagon 5.

Where to Get Orange Equipment

F2P priority: Buy Merit Shop orange equipment every week until all 5 main heroes have full orange gear. Then save for Power Cores.

Where to Get Power Cores

• Tent Event: Up to 250 Power Cores as rewards
• Military Shop: 1,000 Power Cores (buy AFTER all heroes have orange gear)
• Tyrant Kills: ~500 Power Cores per week
• Alliance Duel: Day 4 chest rewards
• Various Events: Check event rewards regularly

Tip: Enable "Engage Offline" for Tyrant rallies to get free Steel and Power Core materials without being online.

Enhancement Alloy Costs

Alloy required to enhance orange gear (per piece):

Note: Level 100 requires mythic transformation. Most F2P players will cap at level 75 (5 hexagons completed).

Where to Get Enhancement Alloy

• Gear Conversion: Convert ALL green, blue, and purple gear
• Daily Activities: Bounty missions, radar tasks
• Alliance Duel: Daily chest rewards
• Events: Various event milestones

Conversion tip: Never hoard low-rarity gear. Convert everything to alloy immediately — you'll need millions of alloy for late game.

Exclusive Equipment

Special 5th slot gear available for Season 1 heroes:

• What it does: Boosts 2nd skill damage by +450-600 damage factor
• Requirement: Hero must be at 2-star to equip
• Stats: Also adds Attack, Defense, and Troop HP
• Effect: Makes S1 heroes competitive with S2 heroes

How to Get Exclusive Equipment

• During current season: Bundles (paid)
• F2P method: Wait until NEXT season starts — becomes free

Heroes with Exclusive Equipment: Selena, Katrina, Bella, Scarlett, Sophia, Evelyn, Sakura, and other S1 heroes.

Mythic Equipment (Whale Territory)

Mythic transformation is the ultimate gear upgrade — but extremely expensive.

What Mythic Does

• Nearly doubles gear power (depending on enchantment level)
• Increases max enhancement level by +25 (from 75 to 100)
• Changes gear appearance/border

Requirements

• At least 1 hexagon completed on the gear piece
• Mythic transformation materials (paid only)
• Cost: approximately $600 - $1,200 per piece

F2P Recommendation

Skip mythic completely. The cost is astronomical for F2P players. Focus on getting all gear to 4 hexagons instead. Mythic is only for heavy spenders.

Common Gear Mistakes

• Upgrading purple/blue gear — Purple caps at 30, blue at 20, no promotion. Complete waste
• Spreading gear across many heroes — Focus on main 5 only (20 pieces)
• Rushing hexagon 5 — Costs 50% of total Power Cores for minimal gain
• Enhancing before level 20 — Must reach 20 to unlock promotion
• Skipping first promotion step — 100 cores + 1M zent gives massive value
• Not upgrading evenly — Don't take one piece to hexagon 3 while others at 0
• Missing Merit Shop — Buy orange choice box EVERY week
• Hoarding low-rarity gear — Convert ALL green/blue/purple to alloy
• Chasing mythic too early — $600-1200 per piece, F2P should skip entirely
